Wedding cake?

My mom is making my wedding cake and do not have the support of the image with the link. I love the cake is shown in the picture … Does anyone know if it's just the tape (if they work) or if there is any need to use special glaze, or if you can buy special tape. Let me know .. You can use regular fabric tape makes the icing on the cake from sticking. They did it in the platinum wedding the other day.
