How many of you actually buy a cake server and toasting flutes for your wedding?

Iv seen a few people here and everyone seems to be buying cake server / knife and toasting flutes and making printmaking, etc. My reception offers all this and I do not use it again, so has not even thinking in buying it. Im just wondering How common is to buy and what are their reasons for or against buying are.
