Wedding Decoration Favor

potted flowers or tree seedlings as wedding favors?!?

My fall wedding colors are purple and red, decorated with green and orange. I would like potted flowers or seeds of trees, such as wedding favors and also used for decorative pieces on the coffee tables. My big problem is that it has a green thumb, along with the fact that because I'm getting married in the fall, I need something that can be planted outdoors SURIE after the wedding (in Ontario), or kept indoors during the fall and winter. Also, I keep my costs to a minimum! What are some good options for seedlings tree? (I think I would like to buy as plants, rather than trying to start trees from seeds, as I imagine it would be difficult?) And What are some good choices for purple / with red flowers that are easy to grow from seed and would look nice on my desk? Thanks (^_^)
